WHO: MAFIAoZA’S Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub, Roadie Christmas Toy Drive and Marine Corps Toys for Tots.
WHAT: From Wednesday, December 5, 2012 thru Sunday, December 16, 2012, MAFIAoZA’S will be a drop off point for the Roadie Christmas Toy Drive benefitting the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
To kick-off the toy drive, on Wednesday, December 5th, MAFIAoZA’s will provide a complimentary dessert for customers who come in to dine and bring a new, unwrapped toy. Limit one dessert per customer.

DERRICK MASON & FRIENDS – HOMECOMING 2012
Charity Event to be Held on Monday, December 10, 2012
From 7:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. at MAFIAoZA’S Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub
WHAT: Please join Derrick Mason, a 15-year NFL Veteran Wide Receiver, as he hosts “DERRICK MASON & FRIENDS – HOMECOMING 2012”. He will be joined by former and current Tennessee Titans players along with special celebrity guests, for an evening of fun, fabulous food, and football while raising money to benefit MAFIAoZA’S “Godfather Fund” at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and InterFACE Ministries.
Derrick states “I am so excited to be hosting this event in partnership with MAFIAoZA’S and raising money for 2 really great charities. I have made Nashville my home and now that I’m retired from the NFL, I have the desire to be more involved and getting to know the community better. I plan to get several of my former Titans teammates together, as well as invite members of the current team, and share stories of our most memorable moments with fans. It will be a night to remember for everyone; lots of football, great food and fellowship.”
This “fan-friendly” charity event for all ages was created to gather several former and current NFL players that we all have grown to know and love, since the city first welcomed its favorite professional football team into town. Fans are asked to pull out their favorite team jersey or wear “BLUE” for the evening, to show their local NFL spirit.
Players will serve the guests plus take part in dough tossing contests and pizza making competitions. Additionally, Derrick will lead question/ answer sessions throughout the night, with the fan-favorites that will be on hand. Discussions will include favorite games and memorable moments along with taking questions from fans, as well. The celebrities will also pose for pictures and sign autographs, while guests have the opportunity to bid on some unique and priceless silent auction items; most of which, will be personally donated by the star participants themselves.
Tickets are $75.00 per person and $25.00 for children 14 and under. Tickets include dinner and non-alcoholic beverages and can only be purchased at http://dmandfriends.

MAFIAoZA’s Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub Launches “Rhythm & Brews”
Birmingham, AL –May 10, 2012— MAFIAoZA’s Pizzeria and Neighborhood Pub, a favorite on the dining scene in Crestline Village since opening its doors in 2008, is pleased to announce the launch of “Rhythm & Brews” bands and beer tasting every Thursday nights.
MAFIAoZA’s is now pouring your favorite local beer accompanied by live tunes on our patio every Thursday night. Each week we feature a different local brewery; their brewers will be there to meet you and discuss their flavors; take home a glass, koozie, or T-shirt with their logo on it. Currently on Thursday’s we have all six of Good People beers and all six Avondale Brewing Company beers on tap, with breweries from around the state to come such as Back Forty, Straight to Ale, Cahaba Brewing, Blue Pants, and more.
We have also prepared a special menu to guide you through an unforgettable dining experience, pairing food with beer. Our chef has a fun Thursday night feature and will be concocting a delicious, made-in-house, beer cheese soup (using a local brew of course).
